Date: Mon Jan 8, 2001 6:09am Hello Everyone, I am wondering if anyone can help me. I tried reading through the positings, but i am having terrible problems with my vision. Does anyone know if Zoloft can cause problems with your vision ? Sometimes i have tunnel vision, but generally i just can't focus on anything, lights have halos around them, and i have terrible headaches. I went to my eye doctor two days ago and he said i have a slight astigmatism with 20/20 vision. But two months ago i didn't have any of these problems. it all started about the time i had my zoloft elevated to 200mg. Please help me!!! i can barely function!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your dose is too high. All that serotonin causes visual problems -- and guess what, sometimes it doesn't go away. The same thing happened to me with Paxil -- certain lights made me feel like I was going to have a seizure, I couldn't focus my eyes, had no peripheral vision. People with head trauma also experience this -- but taking an SSRI is similar to having a head injury. Maybe talk to your doctor about lowering the dose, but if you do do it really really slow, go to the files section on this group and you can read alot of good stuff, (if your eyes will let you), anyway let us know if you have any other problems, even if you dont think its the zoloft, it probably is, take care, Cynthia
